Mars-Jones News: July 2007

Awards:

• We are proud to announce that we achieved the Green Dragon Award in April of this year. This represents our ongoing commitment to reduce our impact on the environment.

New vehicles:
We now have a number of new vehicles:

• 1 x 7.5t vehicle with tail lift curtain side – specifically for our central London deliveries.
• 2 x 17t curtain side vehicles with tail lifts
• We have also recently ordered 2 x new step frame double decked trailers. These will give us the ability to carry 64 euro pallets in one trip giving our customers a more cost effective delivery solution. This links in with our initiatives with the Green Dragon Environmental Award to reduce our impact on the environment.

New customer:

• We're pleased to be working with a new customer: Tyco Electronics UK Ltd. We are providing warehousing, handling and sorting facilities to assist Tyco with their growing needs. Our new double decked trailers will be used to help reduce transport costs and increase throughput.

Expansion:

• We are also expanding further, with new building projects:
• We will be expanding our capacity for both storage and production by building a new 5,000 sq ft warehouse on our main site. Work will be commencing in early August 2007 and for completion end of September 2007.
• Further to this expansion there are plans to increase capacity again with the erection of a mezzanine floor in the Production building which will be used to release floor space in the production area.
